I spent most of my winter vacation with my high school friends. They're a lovely bunch to hang out with, especially because they know where all the good food is in Korea! Sorry in advance if you are hungry because this post is going to contain lots and lots of pictures of food.
We went to a really nice Korean BBQ place in Sik-sa-dong the other day. We ordered pork, kimchi soup and a lot of soju.. haha. The waitress asked for our ID! We showed her the ID cards but maybe she didn't believe that they were real because she brought us to this finger print reading machine thing. She checked whether our finger prints were identical to the ones in the ID cards using the machine.
The meat was really good and they even gave us some rice papers and veggies for free!
The service was good, they were all very friendly - except the part where they got suspicious and double checked our ID, and the food was so good! Especially the kimchi soup omg *drools* And they even refilled it for us a couple of times.
